PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS PETERNAKAN MELALUI PELATIHAN INTEGRASI SAPI DAN AYAM PADA PROGRAM MAGANG MAHASISWA PRODI PETERNAKAN DI DESA BULO, KABUPATEN SIDENRENG RAPPANG, SULAWESI SELATAN
Abstract
Program pelatihan integrasi sapi dan ayam di Desa Bulo, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, Sulawesi Selatan, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas peternakan dan pendapatan ekonomi peternak skala kecil melalui Program Magang Mahasiswa Prodi Peternakan. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari empat tahap: sosialisasi, penyiapan bahan pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi hasil. Sosialisasi melibatkan diskusi tentang manfaat integrasi sapi dan ayam serta seleksi 25 peserta dari berbagai desa di Kecamatan Amarasi. Bahan pelatihan yang disiapkan meliputi jerami padi, hijauan pakan, dan bahan aditif untuk fermentasi pakan. Pelatihan mencakup teknologi amoniasi dan fermentasi jerami, pembuatan silase, serta sistem integrasi sapi dan ayam. Evaluasi menunjukkan kepuasan peserta dan komitmen untuk menerapkan teknologi yang dilatihkan, dengan rencana pengadaan mesin pencacah hijauan. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas ternak dan pendapatan peternak, mendukung program swasembada daging nasional.
