Data was obtained through a survey of rubber farmers using a structured questionnaire. The results show that 90.9% of respondents experienced a drastic decline in production, 8.39% experienced a slight decline, 0.7% reported stable production, and no respondents reported an increase in production. These findings indicate that climate change has a significant impact on rubber productivity. Allelochemicals from sorghum plants and phenolic compounds have repelled and inhibited the growth and germination of weed seeds during several rounds of pulling and burning. This study compiled the latest literature to understand phenolic allelochemicals regarding the potential for sustainable weed management. This review shows that sorghum bioherbicidal phytochemicals have the potential to inhibit weed germination and growth by physiologically and biochemically altering weed physiology and biochemistry, including inhibition of photosynthesis via membrane destruction. Disruption of growth-regulating hormones, the formation of oxidative stress characterized by increased lipid peroxidation, and the induction of cell membranes. This is determined by external environmental factors, soil microbial dynamics, the cultivar genotype, and variations in the methods used to extract and apply them. In addition to root exudates and residues, sorghum intercropping has been shown to promote soil health and enhance weed suppression. Sorghum intercropping in sustainable systems offers an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic herbicides. This offers a path for future field research on bioherbicide formulations to investigate safe concentration thresholds and the phytochemicals that are only partially stable in the field. Fertilization is a key factor in increasing chili productivity, both through the use of inorganic fertilizers such as NPK and liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). This literature review discusses the role and effectiveness of LOF and NPK application on the growth and yield of chili plants. The review findings show that NPK supplies the primary macronutrients nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which function in chlorophyll formation, root development, flowering, and increased fruit production. LOF contributes to improving soil properties, enhancing microbial activity, and supplying micronutrients. The combination of LOF and NPK is considered more effective than single use because it increases nutrient uptake efficiency and supports sustainable agriculture. This can be overcome by administering cow urine POC because its nutrients can increase plant production. The objective of this study was to determine the impact of cow urine on onion plant growth and yield. This research was conducted from November 2023 - January 2024 in Kinari, Kec. Sundi Hill, Kab. Solok, West Sumatra with an altitude of 390 meters above sea level. A group randomized design (CRD) was used to test nine treatments arranged into three groups for this study. Four plants will be used for each treatment, totaling 108 experimental units. The treatment given is as follows, P0 = 0 ml/L, P1= 20 ml/L, P2 = 35 ml/L, P3 = 50ml/L, P4 = 65ml/L, P5 = 80ml/L, P6 = 95ml/L, P7 = 105ml/L, P8 = 120ml/L. If the F-count value of the treatment ≥the F-table value at the 95% confidence interval, then the research data analysis results will be subjected to a multiple comparison test using the Duncan New Multiple Range Test.&nbsp; The observation parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (blade), tuber size (mm), fresh tuber yield (g), and consumption tuber yield (g) were the observational variables monitored during the study. Based on the data collected from this study are is known that the application of POC cow urine in the P3 treatment gave significantly different results in the number of tubers, tuber diameter, root volume, fresh weight of tubers, and consumption weight of tubers. This study was conducted to determine the effect of giving several doses of organic mulch of alang-alang on the growth and yield of soybeans. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 treatments, each treatment had 4 groups of plants, where each plot consisted of 10 plants. The treatments are P0 = without organic mulch of cogongrass, P1 = organic mulch of cogongrass 5.6 kg, P2 = organic mulch of cogongrass 7.2 kg, P3 = organic mulch of cogongrass 8.8 kg, P4 = organic mulch of cogongrass 10.4 kg. The variables observed were plant height, leaf width, number of plants, flowering age, harvest age, number of filled pods, wet seed weight, dry seed weight, weight of 100 seeds. The results of this study were seen from the results of the Duncan multiple distance test (DMRT a 5%). The provision of organic mulch of cogongrass on soybean plants had a significant effect on harvest age, flowering age, number of filled pods, wet seed weight, dry seed weight, weight of 100 seeds and had no significant effect on plant height, leaf width, number of leaves. This is due to the suboptimal nutrients given to the soil. Using sugarcane bagasse as compost can increase soil fertility and reduce waste. This research aims to determine the effect of the dose of bagasse compost on the growth and yield of sweet corn. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 actions, namely P0 : without adding bagasse compost (control), P1: 20 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 1.96 kg/plot, P2 : 25 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 2.45 kg/plot, P3: 30 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 2.94 kg/plot, P4: 35 tons/ha of bagasse compost equivalent to 3.43 kg/plot Each treatment was repeated four times in groups. The variables observed were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, cobs length, cobs diameter and cobs weight. The results of data analysis are analyzed using variance analysis, if the results of variance analysis show a real difference, then proceed with a further significant difference test (DMRT 5%). The results of the research showed that the provision of bagasse compost did not have a real effect on any observed variables. One effort that can be made to overcome the current problems of shallot cultivation is to increase soil fertility by improving the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil and adding optimal organic and inorganic materials. This can be done by using stale rice MOL so that it is expected to be able to improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil, loosen the soil and make it easier for plant roots to absorb nutrients in the soil. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of stale rice MOL on increasing the growth and production of shallots, and to obtain the dose of stale rice MOL in increasing the growth and production of shallots. This study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications so that 15 experimental units were obtained, each experimental unit consisting of 6 plants where there were 3 sample plants. (Mutiarasari et al., 2019).</p> <p>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan inseck net terhadap penyebaran penyakit pada tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kec. Magepanda. This study aims to identify the characteristics of soil pH in coastal land in Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra, as sustainable land management. Sampling was carried out at several different points in the coastal area with a depth of 0–20 cm and a depth of 20-40 cm, then analyzed in the laboratory using a 1:1, 1:2.5 and 1N KCl ratio of 2.5 and electrometry to determine the pH value. The results of the study according to location have a soil pH ranging from acidic (pH 4.3 – 6.1), which is caused by the influence of natural processes such as climate, biology, sea air, and high organic matter content. Several points according to indications of active acid sulfate soil that has the potential to decline if not managed with land productivity, Knowledge of pH characteristics is important as an initial step in selecting appropriate commodities, as well as for the application of improvements such as lime. Robusta coffee is a plantation commodity with high economic value and plays a crucial role in the local economy. This research used a descriptive quantitative method, collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation involving 20 farmers and 5 coffee collectors. The findings revealed one main marketing channel: from farmers to local collectors and then to other village collectors. This marketing structure is simple and efficient. The average selling price at the farmer level was Rp72,000/kg, while the consumer-level price reached Rp85,000/kg. The total marketing margin was Rp13,000/kg, with a marketing cost of Rp6,000/kg and a net profit of Rp7,000/kg. The farmer’s share reached 85.71%, indicating that farmers still gain a significant portion of the profit. This system’s advantage lies in cost efficiency, as collectors directly collect the harvest from the farmers. Furthermore, farmer characteristics such as productive age, over six years of farming experience, and land ownership between 1–2 hectares contributed to marketing success. It is recommended that farmers improve product quality and strengthen institutions such as cooperatives to enhance bargaining power. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) Ulidgalang (Urin Kelinci, Daun Gamal, Batang Pisang) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kentang (Solanum tuberosum. L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Juli tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dalam faktor tunggal, yaitu pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) Ulidgalang (Urin kelinci, Daun Gamal, Batang Pisang) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan, yaitu: P0: kontrol ( tanpa pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC)), P1: 20 ml POC/L, P2: 30 ml POC/L, P3: 40 ml POC/L, dan P4: 50 ml POC/L. Bagi para petani tanaman jagung manis merupakan peluang usaha di pasar memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Produksi jagung di Provinsi Bengkulu tahun 2023 adalah sebesar 53.208,64 ton. Produksi tersebut naik dibandingkan pada tahun 2020 dengan produksi sebesar 23.415,58 ton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan konsentrasi ekstrak akar eceng gondok, lama perendaman dan interaksi konsentrasi ektrak akar eceng gondok terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis kadaluarsa.</p> <p>Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai bulan Juli 2024, di Kelurahan Tangsi Baru, Kecamatan Kabawetan, Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan dua faktor yaitu; konsentrasi ekstrak akar eceng gondok yang diberikan (0 gram/ml aquades, 25 gram/ml aquades, 50gram/ml aquades, 75 gram/ml aquades dan 100 gram/ml aquades) dan Lama perendaman (0jam, 2 jam, 4 jam, dan 6 jam). Konsentrasi ekstrak akar eceng gondok 50 gram/ 500 ml aquades memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis. Lama perendaman tidak mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis. Besides being eaten raw, they can also be processed into various foods such as jam, sauce, and chili sauce. Demand for tomatoes continues to increase year by year. Cultivating tomatoes requires fertilizer. Farmers mostly use chemical fertilizers, potentially leading to land degradation due to excessive chemical use. Coconut pulp is a solid waste product from coconut milk and coconut oil processing. Coconut pulp is often discarded, but it can be used as compost because it contains nutrients that can help improve soil fertility. This study was conducted to determine the growth and production response of tomato plants with the application of coconut pulp compost. This study was conducted at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Pasir Pengaraian University, from December 2024 to March 2025. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments, each consisting of 3 replications, and each plot consisting of 6 plants, each containing 3 sample plants, resulting in a total population of 72 plants. The results showed that the addition of coconut pulp compost significantly affected all observed parameters, namely plant height, leaf number, flowering time, and fruit weight. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan adalah memanfaatkan limbah ikan lele sebagai penyuplai unsur hara pada tanaman jagung elos . Penelitian dilakukan selama 50 hari di Desa Tobai Timur, Sampang, dengan lima variasi konsentrasi limbah lele (P1-0%, P2-25%, P3-50%, P4-75%, dan P5-100%) Dengan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi p4-75% limbah lele memberikan pengaruh paling optimal terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman baik dari segi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, maupun berat basah dan kering. Sebaliknya, penggunaan P5-100% limbah justru menurunkan hasil, diduga akibat kejenuhan unsur hara. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa limbah lele, jika digunakan dalam takaran yang tepat, dapat menjadi pupuk alternatif yang tidak hanya meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman jagung Elos, tetapi juga membantu mengurangi limbah perikanan dan mendorong pertanian yang lebih berkelanjutan.</p> 2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 PUCUK : Jurnal Ilmu Tanaman
